I had the perfect frame for it. One I had picked up at a yard sale and was waiting to figure out what to do with.
I decided to paint it and started out with home made chalk paint that I added a bit of green acrylic to.
The print didn't look right in it, so I mixed up a batch using a blue acrylic. And bingo...it worked! I decided not to distress it since the print is so crisp & clean. I think the colour really compliments the O'Keeffe print.
I just love this print in the new frame! Can't wait for Janice to come over and see what I've done...I think she'll be pleased. And now I just need to find the perfect place to hang it.

Lucky you to have such a thoughtful daughter! And the frame is perfect with your tweaks!
