The mulberries were ripening up fast. One day last week, a couple squirrels were having a feast way up in the tree! Silly cat that Pickle is, he was lying in wait for one of them to fall...at least that is what Larry said he was doing...and doesn't he know squirrels are tree dwellers and don't fall?

Last summer it was cherry tomatoes that the dogs discovered that they liked. They ate some and dropped others. Now I have tomatoes popping up in the oddest spots!

DeleteI remember one year I had to put the tomato pots on the upper deck off our bedroom because the chickens (our last bunch) found them and wouldn't stop eating them. Up a lot of stairs...and the chickens still found them! Couldn't believe they climbed all that way! lol
