Back to Reality

The last weekend of my holidays...wow, has the time flown by! Mind you, the whole summer is going by so fast. The C.N.E. opens soon (August 17th) and when we were kids, that always said school is starting soon. It only runs for 3 weeks leading up to Labour Day.

We spent a few days with friends in the Prince Edward County on East Lake, just off Lake Ontario. Incredibly beautiful country!!

Going to be very hard to go back to work on Monday...

I have so many projects to share with you!! I don't know where to start. But I've had so much fun playing at things while I've been off. Heading out shopping, hopefully I'll get some up soon!

    You were down in my part of the world. We can visit all these places on a daily basis. The whole county is gorgeous with so many places to visit.

      Oh right, I forgot you live near there! We took a drive to Black Creek for some of their cheese (a must when I'm down there!!), visited a few places along the way including the 'Mysterious Lake', Lake on the Mountain, above the Bay of Quinte! Now that is something to see! Look one way and see the bay waaayyy below and then beside you, literally on the mountain, is another lake and it is so beautiful!
      Love it down there, you are fortunate to live in such a beautiful part of the world.

    Hello there .. I think this is the first time I have been here and these sky pictures are gorgeous ! I try to catch the morning sky from my back garden .. too many houses in view of the setting sun which I would love to see ..
    Hasn't this been a crazy summer with this drought and high temps ... I run out to my garden .. do what I have to do and run into the house for the AC .. sad way to spend a summer! LOL

      It sure has been crazy! My succulent and cacti garden are doing better than ever...must think they are in the desert. :)
